Canada imposed new sanctions against Russia


Under Canada's sanctions were "Rosneft" and CEO "Rostec" Chemezov

Decree of the Prime Minister of Canada announced the "black list" of banned and Russian companies, which are not allowed to work in the country.

Economic sanctions related to 37-man from Russia and Ukraine, as well as 17 organizations. This is stated on the official website of Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

As specified by the Canadian authorities, the sanctions taken against Russia in connection with the situation in the south-east of Ukraine and by militias in recent weeks.

In the "black list" of Canada already familiar disgraced Duma deputy Iosif Kobzon and Valery Rashkin who are denied entry into the European Union, as well as Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov and CEO "Rostec" Chemezov, Russian biker Alexander Zaldostanov journalist Dmitry Kiselev, deputy chief General Staff of the Russian Federation Andrey Kartapolov, Rear Admiral Valery Kulikov, Major-General Alexei Naumets, Rear Admiral Alexander Nosatov and Lieutenant-General Igor Turchenyuk.

The list also includes the leaders of the DNI and LC - they are more than the Russians. Among the fallen under sanctions militias including the famous Motorola, which has been in the last EU sanctions list.

With regard to legal persons, Canada imposed sanctions against two Russian companies. This state oil company "Rosneft" and social movement "New Russia". The rest of the company from the list - Ukrainian.

Recall, Canada continued the trend to intensify the sanctions after the European Union. On Monday, the EU announced the names of Russians sanctioned.

The State Duma has already protested over new sanctions lists.
